The Barns at Wesleyan Hills is an elegant, yet rustic, venue. It’s a gorgeous spot inside a fully-finished barn, making the venue comfortable anytime of year. With dark wood walls, and sparkly chandeliers, you’ll love every detail of this unique spot. Check out Brittany and Nick’s bohemian winter wedding we shot there.
We love South Farms (of course we’re biased since it was *our* wedding venue)! This family owned farm is an iconic venue in New England. Their various indoor and outdoor spaces are interconnected, giving your guests a lovely experience throughout the day. We had our ceremony in the Stone Barn and loved the dramatic feel of the masonry and poplar tree chandelier. Check out Lauren and Mike’s wedding that we shot there.

This family-owned farm is warm, welcoming, and gorgeous with greenhouses, hayfields, gardens, and so much more. We visit them annually for pumpkins and absolutely love shooting here. The Hickories is such a special place! The farm has been growing food for 250 years and the Brewster family has been working the land for multiple generations. They allow private events on their property, which allows you a ton of creative license to make the day exactly as you want. We also love that the Brewster family honors the land they steward by acknowledging its roots to the indigineous people who lived on it first. They are intentional to work the land in a way that is sustainable, honoring, and shows care for generations to come. Lots of love to The Hickories! They are amazing! The Barn at Greenwich Audubon Center is from the 1800’s and has been restored to give you that rustic farm feel for your special event - think exposed beams and an oversized fireplace. Yes, please! The barn operates in all four seasons and has an attached patio as well. If you’re a couple who loves nature, this venue may be the perfect fit! Capacity: 80+
Trish Dayan, Justice of the Peace, has made her services available to couples who want to tie the knot with an intimate elopement or micro-wedding. Her gorgeous backyard on a lake, with a solarium and arboretum nearby, is the perfect backdrop for couples who want to tie the knot in a safe and memorable way. We closed out 2020 with Caitlyn and Nico’s sweet private backyard elopement .

The Gallaher Mansion is a gorgeous limestone Tudor revival mansion from the 1930’s and makes a stunning backdrop for any event. With a large terrace and adjacent gardens, your ideal outdoor/tented wedding dreams can come true here. We shot Ali and Pat’s amazing breakfast-for-dinner wedding there! Capacity: 100+
Imagine your wedding on a 600 acre estate with access to Candlewood Lake, ponds, meadows, a pub for drinks, and a lovely Inn. This venue is a nature-lovers dream, especially with the care and attention you’ll receive from their coordinator. The breathtaking views and stress-free atmosphere will make your day exquisite. The Lounsbury House is not only historic, but it’s an iconic and beautifully romantic venue in the heart of Ridgefield. You can’t beat their picturesque gardens, that grand foyer, and the front wrap-around porch. Plus, I can tell you all about my childhood piano recitals I performed in one of their lovely side rooms.
The Garden House at Keeler Tavern is located on historic Main Street in Ridgefield. This “hidden treasure” boasts lovely french doors which open to a hidden brick terrace that leads to a reflecting pool and fountain. There is also a bluestone terrace for tented events. You can’t beat the history and charm at Keeler Tavern! Capacity: 100
If you are looking for a “grand and historic” wedding, then the Wadsworth Mansion may be the perfect venue for you! With a Gatsby-esque feel, this venue has stunning gardens and grounds, as well as dramatic architecture for your backdrop. We loved shooting Maysoon and Mauricio’s summer wedding there! Tarrywile Park and Mansion specializes in intimate weddings of less than 150 people. The possibilities are endless at this historic restored mansion surrounded by beautiful flower gardens. The Burr Mansion is located in Fairfield’s historic district and is a beautiful piece of local history. Couples can rent the mansion for their event, as well as an outdoor tented option. The property boasts beautiful gardens, reflecting pools, and over four acres for photographs and ceremonies. You will love having your day at this lovely piece of CT history! We shot Erin and Dan’s wedding at the Fairfield museum right next door but were able to capture them with the mansion too. It’s a stunning spot! Capacity: 200+
This historic museum has lovely views of the museum grounds and town center. The post and beam design is rustic, yet also sophisticated. The museum is located next door to the stunning Burr Mansion, and you have options for an indoor or outdoor tented reception. We shot Erin and Dan’s fall reception at the museum where they partied under a beautiful tent on the grounds. Capacity: 200
The Spinning Wheel restaurant is an old saltbox house (1742) that harkens back to the days of early Connecticut life. “Rustic charm and beauty” is the best way to describe this venue, with its masonry work and front porch - it is a lovely place for an intimate wedding! Capacity: 160
Around since the colonial era, The North House has been fully refurbished yet still full of charm and history. Their ballroom, bar, foyer, and terrace, offer a lovely backdrop for your day. Probably the coolest thing is that their restaurant next door is home to the “longest continuously operating fireplace” in Connecticut!
A unique venue full of rich history (including some television and movie appearances!), the Griswold Inn is a lovely location for your rehearsal dinner, wedding, or even a special spot for getting ready. Their dining rooms showcase various collections of art making this a truly unique spot! Jackie and Brett took advantage of all Essex has to offer by including the Griswold Inn on their day.
Do you love charm, history, and being surrounded by nature? The Litchfield Inn is a lovely venue where the supportive staff will handle all the details of your day. Their ballrooms, and gardens are the perfect place for a New England wedding. We shot Alyssa and Adam’s gorgeous wedding there . It was a rainy day and the Inn was a perfectly cozy and warm spot to be.
The Loading Dock is the perfect venue for couples who love the “industrial, modern, chic” vibe. With exposed brick and duct work, hardwood floors, a variety of super cool modern furniture at your disposal, and an arcade(!!), your venue will be the talk of your guests for years to come! Located at the edge of the Connecticut River, this historic shipbuilding yard with an iconic chimney is one of the most beautiful and unique venues in the area. The Lace Factory has a partnership with the Essex Steam Train, giving couples an extra special entrance as they ride into their reception in style. There are so many interesting features and opportunities to make this venue your own! “The only wedding venue in the country that offers a steam train to boat connection.” You can’t get much cooler than that! Essex Station offers a variety of options for your ceremony and reception - by land, river, or steam! We love how unique your day could be by incorporating one of their many options. Jackie and Brett had their ceremony at Essex Station and then they took the train to The Lace Factory for their reception. It was one of our favorite weddings we’ve shot!
Ocean lovers, this is the place for you! The Sullivan house is set up on a hill with the most spectacular views of the water. You can put your personal touch on this amazing venue with an outdoor or indoor event. We spent an entire wedding weekend with Hayley and Mike at the Sullivan House and it was an amazing experience to shoot there! You can see their wedding featured on The Newport Bride .
Sleepy Hollow Country Club is a beautiful venue full of history, and lovely views of the Hudson Valley. There are so many unique spots on the property both inside, and out. We shot Morgan and Carl’s engagement and wedding photos there. Here is their engagement session that shows the beauty and uniqueness of this spot (think stained glass, stone walls, and crystal chandeliers...gorgeous!).
There is a reason this venue is so popular! Le Chateau is a staple in our area for so many couples. We have shot many weddings here and it’s obvious why - the setting is romantic, peaceful, sophisticated, and cozy.
