It’s the middle of January. Here I sit, surrounded by boxes, picture frames waiting to be hung, unopened mail, and leftover paint rollers, at the built-in desk in my new apartment.
I moved.
We often forget how such a tiny state can be so vastly diverse. I’m in Connecticut still, but a mere 45 minutes from where I grew up is a brand new way of life. I used to daydream about flying across the country and moving to the opposite coast. It may still happen someday, but for now, adventure lives here, a little bit closer to these chilly Atlantic waters that I’m sure have become a part of my veins by now.
While 2014 was filled with monumental moments like this move, it was also filled with the small moments (as it always is). The tender moments. The celebratory moments. The snuggly moments. The croissant-eating in Paris and wild-hair moments.
We’ve already become accustomed to writing 2015, but let us not forget 2014 and these, my favorite frames.
These are my favorite moments with some of the greatest folks and places on earth.
Such great shots. You’re an inspiring photographer!
Thank you, secret admirer :)
