So what do you do when it rains on your wedding day?

You get dressed, put on your dancing shoes, pack those tissues, and marry the love of your life.

Rain schmain! It rained on our wedding day and was about 20 degrees colder than the day before, and it was still the greatest day of our lives.

Alyssa + Adam embraced the rain on their wedding day too. Like, it POURED. All day. Non stop.

They had planned for a garden party at the Litchfield Inn, but their Plan B was just as romantic – a candlelit and chandeliered ballroom, filled with everyone they love.

And ya know what? They still got married. They still had the time of their life. We busted out our lighting equipment and still made beautiful images, taking advantage of all the nooks and crannies in the Litchfield Inn.

They celebrated life and love, the long road they’ve walked between deployments and losing loved ones, and anticipated the arrival of their little girl. (PS She’s here and adorable!)

So don’t fret if it rains. You’re still gonna have the best day ever.
