It seems like we go through the same motions and rites of passage. We fall in love. Get engaged. Get married. Have a baby. (Sometimes in that order, sometimes not.)
There is no shame in following this rat race if it leads towards love. There’s no shame in choosing that one person you want to spend the rest of your life with. Marriage is a tradition, sure, but it isn’t a boring one. If the couples we’ve photographed this year have taught us anything, it’s that we can all follow the same patterns, but within those patterns is a unique, light-filled world of love. There’s nothing boring about choosing one person to spend the rest of your life with and then living it together, while opening yourself up to pet names and doting and tickle fights.
We’ve encountered dozens of love stories this past year. So, as hard as it was, we’ve compiled the best of the best and created the mega love fest. In the following visuals, we’ll tell you the story of love, from engagement, to marriage, to babies, and home building, with the families and friends that are family that surround it all.
